On 28th November, at II General Secondary School in Gorzów Wielkopolski, on  Przemysłowa 22 Street, a meeting entitled: “Neighbors – the issues of Polish-German borderland”, was held by prof. dr hab. Beata Orłowska from the Jacob of Paradies University in Gorzów Wielkopolski.

The meeting was an opportunity to discuss on how do we perceive ourselves and how others perceive us? The students learned about the role of stereotypes and what are the origins of stereotypes and  prejudices. Also the question of “pigeonholing” was raised including its mechanisms and interconnection with the phenomenon of discrimination.
