EVENT REPORT: “MINORITIES IN POLAND, POLES AS MINORITIES IN THE EUROPEAN UNION COUNTRIES”

On 23 rd  October, at I General Secondary School in Gorzów Wielkopolski, on  Aleksander Puszkin 31 Street, was held a  meeting entitled “Minorities in Poland, Poles as minorities in the European Union countries”, conducted by prof. associate dr hab. Beata Orłowska from the Jacob of Paradies University in Gorzów Wielkopolski.

Participants had the opportunity to acquire knowledge on minorities living in the Lubuskie region and on the area of the entire Polish state.  There was also presented the question of the influence of the cultural and ethnic diversity within particular nationalities including Poles, and its impact on everyday life in the European Union countries.
